Saints Head Coach gives his thoughts after the narrow win.
“It was a really tough game; we knew it was going to be hard coming to Wakefield.
We wanted to start the game well and in the first 20 minutes I felt we were in control, but credit to Wakefield they kept fighting back.
In the second half we defended really well with a number of back to back sets on our own line and that probably won us the game in the end.
We kept working and came up with a good try at the end to win the game.
I’m really happy to get a win today and start the season with two victories.”
