Head Coach Justin Holbrook believes Saints must match the "dangerous" Broncos work ethic on Friday night as we welcome the capital outfit to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday (K.O. 7:45pm) with tickets still available!
The Broncos stunned Wigan last week after an 18-16 win in London and our Head Coach believes Danny Ward’s men will head into the clash with Saints, full of confidence.
“London had a good win over Wigan at the weekend and a good win in round one against Wakefield and they throw the ball around a bit too so they are a dangerous attacking threat, that is for sure,” he said.
“I have done a lot more homework than I normally would and the big thing I noticed is how hard they work for each other and they are getting a few chances which they are taking. They defend really strong and we have to match that work ethic and make it hard for them.”
Holbrook specifically made reference to the Broncos’ hard work which saw them jump back up to Super League after defeating Toronto in the Million Pound Game.
“Full credit to Danny Ward the coach and the way they all playing as a team,” he continued. “I can see from watching them this year how they got that win last year over Toronto when no-one expected them to win. They just went there and all ripped in for each other and they are a really committed side and we are aware of that.
“No one thought they could beat Toronto in that Million Pound Game, but they did so they must be doing something right and they have started this season in similar fashion. They are a dangerous side.”
Justin made one change to the Saints squad for Friday’s game with Kevin Naiqama replacing Matty Costello in the 19 man squad.
