Ahead of St.Helens Women's Super League season opener against Wigan Warriors, the club is delighted to share the squads Heritage numbers which have now been issued to players.
Back in January, Saints Heritage Society completed more than 40 years of research to allow the Saints to issue all its men’s players past and present with unique heritage numbers.
Whether they came onto the field for half a game, played as a trialist, or turned out in more than 500 competitive games, they were all considered equal and can justifiably feel proud to be part of this great club.
And now Saints Heritage Society, the club and our Community Development Foundation have recognised the fast growing Women’s game and provided each squad player with a unique heritage number.
Each player will receive a shirt presented to them at an event on Friday 5th April at the Totally Wicked Stadium before special, one of a kind certificates recognising their Heritage numbers will be presented to the women and men’s squads in due course.
