First team stars have a blast with Saints Foundation

Saints first team stars and coaching staff joined our charitable arm, Saints Community Development Foundation, at the Totally Wicked Stadium for the annual Junior Members Day in partnership with Y Sports.

Our young fans, alongside attendees of the Foundation’s development sessions and cheerleaders, got the chance to meet the players as well as get their Saints shirts signed during a fun-filled event in the North Stand Concourse.

There were games and action-packed activities including passing walls and target games delivered by the Saints Community Development Foundation who do some fantastic work in our local communities.

The event, which ran from 1-3pm on Tuesday, saw over 350 junior members attend. Saints Community Development Foundation would like to thank Youth Sport Trust and YMCA for their support around the Y Sports event.

Craig Richards, Coaching and Education Manager at Saints Community Development Foundation said: “Thanks to the Saints players. It was great to see how they mixed with young fans. The youngsters will remember the day for years to come and hopefully it will inspire the next generation of Saints stars.”

As part of the Saints Junior Members Day the A Star Saints Angels also ran their first ever ‘Cheer-a-thon’ challenge which consisted of non-stop dancing for 1 hour to a range of different party tracks. We had 110 participants take part in the challenge which was a fantastic achievement!

Thank you to all that helped us make the first ever ‘Cheer-a-thon’ so special.
