Saints Community Development Foundation's [SCDF] Veterans of the Foundation paid tribute to Veterans and Servicemen today as they commemorated those that fought during D-Day 75 years on.
SCDF launched a support group for local veterans and servicemen or women back in 2018 and recently helped change the life of a former special forces soldier by transforming his home.
Commemorations for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, also known as the Normandy landings, took place this week and SCDF played their part as veterans took part in a minutes silence outside the Totally Wicked Stadium before the Last Post was then played.
SCDF would like to thank all of the Veterans and Servicemen who attended the ceremony.
