Saints Community Development Foundation [SCDF] is delighted to announce that our successful ‘Stay in The Game’ initiative is back up and running in preparation for the September school term.
Stay In The Game is a mental health initiative that aims to help children and young adults enhance their emotional well being by learning at least 12 resilience building actions in a fun and exciting workshop.
The Course, developed by mental health adviser Walter Brennan, is endorsed by North West Boroughs NHS Trust and has been delivered to more that 3500 children within the St. Helens area.
And Saints Community Development Foundation got the ball rolling on Monday the 15th June 2019 as we visited Wargrave Primary School to deliver our very own Stay In The Game sessions to Year 6 pupils and the sessions also included physical activities with Saints Community Development Foundation Rugby Coaches.
SCDF will continue to deliver its Stay in the Game workshops throughout the school term across a number of schools in the borough.
