Senior men return for Challenge Cup Semi Final

Captain James Roby returns to the 19 man squad alongside seven other senior figures ahead of Saints' Coral Challenge Cup Semi Final with Halifax on Saturday at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Holbrook gave youth a chance on Sunday against London, but admitted in midweek that his senior figures will return for Saturday’s Semi Final.

Roby returns to the squad for the first time since his groin surgery having not featured since the defeat to London back in round 17.

And there are seven other senior players who join him back in the squad this week as Jonny Lomax, Tommy Makinson, Kevin Naiqama, Mark Percival, Theo Fages, Alex Walmlsey and Luke Thompson all return. As hinted by Holbrook, there is no place for Lahclan Coote who is recovering from a knee injury he picked up against Wigan.

Danny Richardson retains his place in the squad as does Regan Grace, Joseph Paulo, LMS, Morgan Knowles, Kyle Amor, Dom Peyroux, Matty Lees, Jack Ashworth, James Bentley and Matty Costello.
