Coote out of Tigers clash as 19 man squad named

Lachlan Coote will sit out Friday night's return to the Totally Wicked Stadium as Saints host Castleford Tigers due to the concussion protocol following a head injury picked up at the weekend.

Justin Holbrook revealed in his weekly interview with that he will look to pick a consistent team to help build momentum ahead of the playoffs and that is what he has done with just two changes to the 19 man squad for this Friday’s match with Castleford Tigers which will see Saints lift the League Leaders’ shield.

Jack Welsby comes in for Coote and Dom Peyroux is the other to drop out after carrying a minor niggle with Matty Costello coming back into the squad.

Matty Lees is still out following surgery on his bowel which he injured in the win over Leeds Rhinos and is unlikely to play again this season. We will have regular update on Matty’s injury as and when we have it.

Aaron Smith serves the second of his two match ban he picked up against Leeds.
