Jonny Lomax says the atmosphere at Old Trafford will be "electric" as Saints face Salford in the Betfred Super League Grand Final and insists it is all about delivering on the big stage on Saturday.
Lomax, who played in Saints’ Old Trafford defeats in 2010 and 11 insists a 2019 Grand Final win would top off a year’s worth of hard work.
Having experienced Old Trafford before, Lomax expects the atmosphere to be electric with emotions high whilst he also states Salford will be a ‘monumental’ challenge with a vast amount of NRL and Grand Final experience in their ranks.
Lomax, who has had an outstanding season scoring 16 times and assisting a further 21 tries in the Super League this season, believes a win will be a fitting send off for the departing Justin Holbrook, but is taking nothing for granted, admitting it is all about delivering on the big stage on Saturday.
