Jonny Lomax missed the 2014 Grand Final win due to injury, but he insists the dark times and long road to recovery was all worth it on Saturday night when he topped off a wonderful season with a Grand Final ring.
Lomax was a stand-out performer for Saints this year scoring 19 tries in 30 appearances and assisting a further 21 scores which culminated in him picking up the three major honours at the club awards night.
Our stand off, who became a father this year, felt the Saints learnt from our mistakes having got the ‘monkey’ off our back whilst admitted winning a Grand Final ring topped off a wonderful year.
