Liverpool FC Academy's UEFA Youth League clash with Napoli will no longer be played at St.Helens' Totally Wicked Stadium on Wednesday after the fixture venue was moved at the request of the football club.
The Totally Wicked Stadium regularly hosts Liverpool FC Academy fixtures given the its proximity to the city and the fact it is the biggest modern stadium in Merseyside outside of Liverpool FC and Everton FC, boasting an 18,000 capacity.
And it was set to host Wednesday’s 3pm kick off between Liverpool and Napoli, but the game will now be played at an alternative venue due to recent renovation of the pitch.
Anyone who has purchased tickets through St.Helens and requires a refund on their tickets should contact the Totally Wicked Stadium ticket office on 01744 455052 or email [email protected]. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
