Saints Learning Disability Rugby League Returns!

Saints are delighted to announce that our Learning Disability [LDRL] Super League Team will be continuing into the 2020 season.

LDRL Head Coach Gareth Foster said: “It pleases me to announce that we are going to continue with the LDRL programme during the 2020 season. As a group we are committed to delivering and improving on last year’s very successful first LDRL programme.”

“We had over 30 players of different abilities take part last year and look forward to welcoming new players this season.”

The open access training sessions will take place every Wednesday at Ruskin Park (3G Rugby Field) between 5pm to 6pm. The first session will be Wednesday 12th February. These sessions will include, core & fundamental skill development, light physical training, but most importantly…PLAYING.

Joining our staff this year we are pleased to welcome Tracy Woods. Tracey has taken on the role of inclusion ambassador and hopes to raise the profile of issues relating to diversity and inclusion within the Foundation. Also joining the coaching team we have Barry Diggles and Dave Abel. Welcome to them all.
