Hollywood Superstar Russell Crowe has sent a message to the people of St Helens during this difficult time.
The message was arranged by his good friend and St Helens own Jonny Vegas who has joined forces with St.Helens Council, local community rugby league club Blackbrook ARLFC and The Steve Prescott Foundation to deliver food packages to the most vulnerable and at risk of Coronavirus.
On behalf of St.Helens, @sthelenscouncil & all voluntary groups involved with #StHelensComeTogether the @EcclestonArms @StevePrescott1 team just wanna say a HUGE thank you @russellcrowe for helping get our message out there #legend 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻#StayAtHomeAndStaySafe

Crowe, who is co-owner of NRL side South Sydney Rabbitohs, is all to aware of St.Helens after visiting the town when the Saints faced the Rabbitohs in the World Club Challenge back in 2015.
And after chatting to his mate Jonny Vegas, had this message for the people of St.Helens posted on his Social Media accounts.
Anyone in the St.Helens area who is vulnerable, in the NHS or is having trouble getting hold of food should call 01744881881 and Vegas and his team will help!
