Each day whilst we are all in Lockdown we will recall a famous Saints moment from the current day thanks to Saints Heritage Society.
2 May 1959
Championship semi-final: Saints 42-4 Oldham at Knowsley Road.
Three tries from right winger Ken Large, who was deputising for Tom van Vollenhoven. The team went on to beat Hunslet 44-22 at Odsal in the Championship final.
Happy days!
