We may not have any rugby league to enjoy in person over the next few weeks given the recent suspension of the game, but that won't stop us enjoying some memorable classics from years gone by to fill the time on Saints TV!
This week was set to see Saints face Hull FC, so all week we are looking back on games against our Yorkshire opponents.
We can’t do just that without re-living our 2006 Super League Grand Final triumph over Hull FC at Old Trafford.
What a night it was and a night that secured the TREBLE for Daniel Anderson’s Saints.
Saints become only the second team in the Super League era to win the treble, 40 years after winning their first. We beat Huddersfield 42-12 in the 2006 Challenge Cup final, went on to finish top of Super League and this memorable night topped off an unbelievable season.
That same year, the St.Helens team became only the second rugby league team in history to win the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year Award.
