Makinson charged with Grade F offence

Tommy Makinson has been charged with a Grade F offence in our game with Castleford Tigers on Sunday with the incident being sent to a tribunal to determine his penalty notice.

The RFL Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 13th minute in which Makinson was adjudged to have committed a Grade F offence classed as “Other contrary behaviour” on Castleford’s Liam Watts.

Makinson will attend an RFL hearing on Wednesday.

In the same game, Matty Lees was charged with a Grade A “Dangerous Contact” on fellow forward Grant Millington, but will not face a suspension. Millington however will miss Castleford’s next game after his sin-binning for a late hit on Jonny Lomax.
