Match Preview: Saints vs Leeds Rhinos

Saints take on the Challenge Cup winners Leeds Rhinos on Friday with kick off at 7.45pm at our Totally Wicked Stadium and you can read all the pre-match news in our preview story.

BACKGROUND…

It’s Round 17 of Super League XXV and this week’s matches take place at our Totally Wicked Stadium. The Rhinos will arrive in high spirits after another late Luke Gale drop goal secured a 17-16 victory over Salford at Wembley in the Challenge Cup Final.

They are in 5th position in the Betfred Super League, having won eight of their 13 matches. They have a total of 16 points and they are in a great place to challenge for a Playoff spot.

Saints are on an nine match winning run in Super League with Kristian Woolf’s men undefeated in the league since the restart. We sit top of the table and will look to extend that good run of form on Friday before we then face the Challenge Cup runners up, Salford, on Monday.
