Joseph Paulo to leave Saints for Toulouse in 2021

Saints' Joseph Paulo will leave the Club for Toulouse Olympique at the end of the 2020 season.

Paulo joined the club on a three year deal from Cronulla Sharks back in 2018 under former coach Justin Holbrook.

He played his part in Saints’ 2019 Super League Grand Final success, making 28 appearances and scoring one try.

This season he has so far played eight times and will move on to pastures new in France at the end of the current campaign.

Joseph Paulo said: “To Eamonn [McManus], Mike [Rush] and the Club thank you for the last two years at the Saints. You have made me and my family feel like we are at home since we arrived.

“My teammates have made turning up everyday so much fun and it’s been a pleasure to play with them all. I want to wish them all the best for the future.

“Also thank you to the fans. It would have been nice to say farewell to you in person and although my time was short, thank you to the Saints community for the wonderful memories.”

Kristian Woolf said: “We thank Joseph for his efforts over the last two years. He has been a valued member of the squad, contributing on and off the field. We wish him well over in France.”

The club wishes to thank Joseph for his services and we wish him the best of luck in the rest of his career.
