Callum Hazzard to join North Wales Crusaders

Saints' Callum Hazzard will leave the Club for North Wales Crusaders at the end of the 2020 season.

Hazzard joined the club’s Scholarship programme at the age of 14 and signed terms at 16 before heading off on the Academy’s Tour of Australia.

He made one appearance for the first team in 2019 and this season played four times for the Reserves. Hazzard will depart the Club at the end of the season for a new chapter at North Wales Crusaders.

Callum Hazzard said: “Thanks to everyone at the Club who’ve helped and supported me over for the last seven years. I wish everyone at the Club the best of luck for the future and I am now looking forward to a new chapter in my career with North Wales Crusaders.”

Head Coach Kristian Woolf said: “Callum is a great kid. He has plenty of football ability and has handled a tough year really well. We all agreed at the Club that Callum needs game time and to have the opportunity to play some regular footy. We wish him all the best at North Wales and he knows the door is always open to come back.”

The club wishes to thank Callum for his professionalism and dedication and we wish him the best of luck in the rest of his career.
