As a huge Thank You to our donating Members from the 2020 season, as promised, we have printed their names into our official 2021 warm-up shirt, that will be donned by the players throughout the 2021 season...
Nearly 3,000 of our 2020 Members were able to kindly donate the cost of their Memberships back to club during the 2020 season that was heavily curtailed by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
This huge show of support helped the Club to navigate, what is still a time of great difficulty for the sport as a whole.
The shirt will be proudly worn in the warm-up throughout the season by all the matchday squad, starting with the opening Betfred Super League fixture vs. The Salford Red Devils this Friday, 26th March, as Saints begin the defence of their back-to-back Super League Crowns.
The shirt, produced by our partner O’Neills, has only been manufactured in a small quantity for the first-team to use only. The item will not, as detailed at the time, be sold commercially as a retail product, as the Club feels this would be inappropriate, but rather as a symbol of the Club’s thanks to those fans, who were fortunate enough to be able to donate during tough times.
The same Member’s names featured on the shirt will also feature in a special plaque in the Totally Wicked Stadium tunnel with a sneak peak below and further images to follow very soon once installation is completed.
The shirt features the names of all donating members who completed our online capture form that was used to record Membership Rebate options during 2020.
