St.Helens will face the holders Leeds Rhinos in the Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round with the tie to be played over the weekend of 10th and 11th April.
Two ties will be televised by the BBC on Saturday 10 March with the other ties available for streaming.
Venues and confirmation of the televised ties will be announced by the RFL in due course.
The draw saw the 12 Super League clubs joined by the four surviving Betfred Championship teams following the second round this weekend.
The draw was conducted at Victoria Park in Warrington – the recipient of a large grant from Rugby League World Cup’s CreatedBy Capital Grants Programme. Oliver Dowden, the Culture Secretary, made the draw.
Two Third Round ties to be shown live by the BBC on Saturday April 10, to be confirmed later.
Three of the four Championship clubs, who have also earned a second shot at reaching Wembley in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup – a knockout competition for non-Super League clubs that was introduced in 2019, all received home draws.
York City Knights will welcome Wigan Warriors to their new stadium whilst Swinton Lions host Warrington Wolves and Featherstone welcome Hull FC. Widnes were the unfortunate Championship team who ended up with an away tie at Salford.
Super League newcomers Leigh host Huddersfield whilst Catalans will entertain Wakefield. The final draw sees Hull KR host Castleford Tigers with former Leeds head coaches Tony Smith and Daryl Powell going head to head.
The draw for the semi finals of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup will be made in May, after the Betfred Challenge Cup quarter finals – with the ties to be played on the weekend of June 5-6.
If any of the 1895 Cup semi finalists also reaches the last four of the Challenge Cup, their 1895 Cup semi final will be rearranged for a later date.
