Our Saints Academy are back in action and we caught up with Head Coach Derek Traynor and young Rio Corkill as they returned to training after a long lay off!
Those clubs in Super League and Championship with Academies, including Saints, were given the go-ahead to begin pre-season training from Monday 8 March – almost 12 months since they last played competitive Rugby League.
However, continuing public health concerns mean that there will be no formal Academy competition in 2021.
But that hasn’t stopped the boys returning to training at our Cowley Training facility. Watch them in action below!
