The RFL have today confirmed details of when the Betfred Challenge Cup semi-finals draws will take place in both the men’s and women’s competition.
The former Great Britain captain Jamie Peacock will conduct the draw for the Semi Finals of the men’s 2021 Betfred Challenge Cup on Saturday evening, live on BBC2 during the half-time break in the second of the day’s televised Quarter Finals, between Castleford Tigers and Salford Red Devil’s – approx (6:15pm).
The Semi Finals will be played on Saturday June 5, in a triple header kicking off with the Final of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup (venue and further details to be confirmed next week).
Both competitions are at the Quarter Final stage this weekend with Saints men facing Huddersfield this evening (8:15pm) and our Women playing Featherstone Ladies on Sunday (3:30pm).
The ball numbers for the Semi Finals will be determined chronologically, as follows:
1 – Catalans Dragons or Warrington Wolves
2 – St Helens or Huddersfield Giants
3 – Hull FC or Wigan Warriors
4 – Castleford Tigers or Salford Red Devils
The Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter Finals are being played on Sunday (May 9). The draw will be conducted at the Mobile Rocket Stadium in Wakefield by the former Hull FC and Hull KR stand-off Paul Cooke, and streamed live on TheSportsman.com, after their coverage of the tie between York City Knights and Wigan Warriors which kicks off at midday.
The ball numbers for the Semi Finals will be as follows:
1 – Leeds Rhinos or Bradford Bulls
2 – St Helens or Featherstone Rovers
3 – Warrington Wolves or Castleford Tigers
4 – York City Knights or Wigan Warriors
The Semi Finals will be played on Saturday May 22, with the Final on Saturday June 5 (see above).
