A limited print run collectors’ edition match programme is being produced by Ignition Sports Media for the RFL to celebrate the return of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final after a two-year absence, and also featuring the two Betfred Challenge Cup semi-finals that will be played in a Triple Header at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday 5th June.
There is guaranteed to be a new name on the trophy in the ninth Women’s Challenge Cup Final, as St Helens and York City Knights will each be making their first appearance – in a match that will be shown live on BBC Two for the first time.
Saints also feature in the first of the Betfred Challenge Cup Semi Finals, facing Hull FC, before Castleford Tigers take on Warrington Wolves to complete the Wembley line-up for the Betfred Challenge Cup Final in July.
The RFL and Ignition Sports Media were delighted by the response to the special souvenir programme produced for last year’s Challenge Cup Final, played Behind Closed Doors at Wembley – with programmes posted to supporters and collectors in advance.
The programme to accompany the Betfred Challenge Cup Triple Header will be posted out by Royal Mail first class on Thursday 3rd June so as to have a good chance of arriving before matchday – though this can’t be guaranteed of course.
Due to current restrictions, programmes may not be widely available to purchase at the stadium on the day, so supporters attending the games are advised to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment.
The price for this special edition is £3.50 plus P+P of £1.50 for first class postage to a UK address and can be ordered from the Ignition website HERE.
