Match Preview: Saints vs Warrington – RD 10

Saints face rivals Warrington Wolves back at the Totally Wicked Stadium in front of another 4,000 fans with kick off at 7:45pm live on Sky Sports.

BACKGROUND…

Saints currently sit second in Super League having only lost one game so far this season with the only blemish on their record coming against Catalans Dragons in Round 6.

Kristian Woolf’s side are fresh off a 12 day break having had their game against Leeds postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Leeds camp. St Helens also possess the best defensive record in the league having only conceded 70 points in their opening eight games so far.

Warrington have scored the most points in the league and were victorious last week over Wakefield Trinity – but will need to step up their performance if they are to beat the Saints. They currently sit in fourth in the ladder – one point behind Saints having played a game more. The game will be won down the middle and both sets of forwards will need to gain the upper hand to allow their talented back lines to flourish.

We can once again welcome up to 4,000 fans to the game tonight. Please ONLY travel to the game if you were drawn out of the ballot and have received your ticket. You will not gain entry without a valid ticket. Please ensure you read our fan guidance below.

Please ensure your check your ticket for your turnstile entrance number and entry time as we aim to ensure all fans enter the stadium safely.

Vaccination Clinic

As published earlier in the week, eligible fans can get their Covid-19 Vaccination in our a special drop-in clinic at the stadium, with no need for an appointment.

The ‘jab and go watch the match’ initiative is for any ticket holder eligible for the vaccine and aims to make it as easy as possible for those who still haven’t had their vaccine to get protected as soon as possible.

Any eligible ticket holder can visit the drop-in clinic which will be located in the ‘Wide to West’ kiosk in the West Stand.

Entry to the clinic can ONLY be gained from outside the stadium BEFORE scanning your match ticket to enter to watch the match. Anyone who enters with their ticket through a turnstile would then not be able to access a vaccine. Access to the clinic is via the designated entry and exit point located in the northwest corner of the stadium.
