The Betfred Women’s Super League fixture scheduled for Sunday between St Helens and Wakefield Trinity has been awarded to St Helens with a 24-0 scoreline after Wakefield advised they would be unable to field a squad for the match.
Wakefield have a combination of Covid-19 and other selection issues after their defeat at Bradford on Monday night, but did not meet the conditions necessary to apply for a postponement under the Covid Fixture Protocols for the BWSL.
