Match Preview: Saints vs Leeds Rhinos – SL Semi Final

Saints face Leeds Rhinos at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday evening with kick off at 7:45pm as we look to book our place at Old Trafford for a third consecutive Grand Final.

BACKGROUND…

Old Trafford awaits as Saints host Leeds Rhinos on Friday (7.45pm) knowing that a win would send us back to Old Trafford for our third straight Grand Finial appearance.

Leeds were impressive against Wigan in their elimination playoff, nilling the Warriors 8-0 at the DW Stadium. Saints however have had a week off, with a number of the senior players having not played for over two weeks as they were rested against Salford in the final regular season game.

Throughout the history of Super League, both sides have been the most successful at reaching and winning at Old Trafford, featuring eight times in the play offs with four wins each.
