All Accessible Parking provision has now been utilised for our opening fixture on Thursday 10th February vs Catalans Dragons.
Please do not contact the Ticket Office regarding accessible parking, as our allocation is full for this fixture.
As detailed in our previous announcement, there is a provision for 57 accessible parking spaces for each match at the Totally Wicked Stadium (see notes below for further info on this provision)
With this in mind, and the current high demand for places taken into account, the Club has decided there will be a provision made exclusively to 2022 Members initially for each home fixture, with any remaining provision then made available to non-members.
When will the accessible parking be available for each match?
Accessible parking will be made live to 2022 Members seven days before the date of each home fixture and closed, 5pm the day before the fixture (subject to availability), e.g. the first home fixture vs. Catalans Dragons which takes place on Thu 10th Feb, accessible parking can be booked from 9am, Thu 3rd Feb and will close, 5pm Wed 9th Feb.
On the day of the fixture itself, if any parking provision is still remaining, non-members who meet the disability criteria detailed below can book by visiting the Ticket Office.
Parking is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee that places will be available for any given period of time, once they are made live for each fixture.
How can 2022 Members apply for an accessible parking space?
2022 Members who already have provided evidence of their entitlement to a disabled ticket to the Club when renewing their Membership, can book their place over the phone on 01744 455052 or in person at the Ticket Office at the Totally Wicked Stadium during opening hours (9am-5pm Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm Sat)
Any other 2022 Members in possession of a disabled blue badge can only book their place via attending the Ticket Office with their proof of eligibility i.e. their blue badge and a form of current ID. This only needs to be done on one occasion each season, so that the Club can record your evidence of eligibility. After that point Members can then call the Club to book for subsequent fixtures, without the need to attend the Ticket Office.
Please note: only one car parking space will be allocated per ticket booking.
Notes regarding Accessible Parking at the Totally Wicked Stadium
The Totally Wicked Stadium has a total of 202 car parking spaces, of which 74 are accessible in the main car park.
Under the Rugby Football League operational rules, the Club must remove from that number 10% for away fans and a further 10 for hospitality guests. This leaves us with 57 spaces we can allocate to general spectators on matchdays.
The DDA and British Standards state we should have 5% of all parking spaces available for those with a disability. We currently stand at over 28% with that percentage increasing to 36% when all accessible spaces are available on a non-matchday.
At present we are oversubscribed by over 300 spaces on accessible parking requests and this demand has risen year on year.
Unfortunately it is not mathematically possible to grant every supporter their request for an accessible parking space.
