Match Preview: Hull FC vs Saints – Round 2

Saints face Hull FC at the MKM Stadium on Saturday lunchtime with kick off at 12.30pm as we look to back up our opening day win live on Channel 4.

BACKGROUND…

Adam Hills presents live coverage of this Super League clash between two rugby league giants, as Hull FC welcome Saints to the MKM Stadium. The game is live on Channel 4 with kick off at 12:30pm.

Saints head into Round 2 on the back of an impressive 28-8 win over Catalans Dragons in Round 1, whilst Hull FC overcame Wakefield 12-16.

Hull boss Brett Hodgson has been forced into several changes ahead of the match, losing both Jake Connor (one match) and Andre Savelio (two matches) to suspension, while Carlos Tuimavave also drops out with a tight hamstring. Saints however have named the same 21 who defeated the Dragons.

Hull FC have confirmed their plans to remember the life and career of club legend Johnny Whiteley MBE ahead of Saturday’s Betfred Super League clash against St Helens. The Black & Whites’ legendary former captain and coach passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Sunday evening surrounded by his close family.
