Saints Reserves made it two wins from two after a big win in the capital against London Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
Saints got off to a fast start through a Shay Martyn try, beating the fullback and scoring in the corner. Martyn was able to convert his own try from the touchline. 0-6 Saints led.
From the first try, Saints continued to set the pace with Rio Corkill finding the try line from a Danny Moss short ball. Martyn misses the conversion, 0-10.
The short ball continued to cause the Broncos defence problems as Taylor Pemberton jumped out of dummy half to find Sam Royle going over underneath the sticks. Martyn converted, 0-16.
As we moved into the half way point of the first half, Pemberton was able to provide another assist as Jumah Sambou finishing fantastically in the corner. Martyn missed the conversion, 0-20.
The hosts were then able to create some pressure from the back of some Saints errors. Jacob Thomas chased his own grubber kick and went over putting the hosts on the scoresheet for the first time. Thomas converted, 6-20.
However, Saints were quick to respond to this with two tries in quick succession from Jumah Sambou and Ellis Keppel, widening the gap at half time. Martyn converted both tries, 6-32.

After the half time team talk, London were quick to get on the scoresheet with their prop forward Judd Greenhalgh crashing over from a few metres out. Thomas converted, 12-32.
Following the quick London try, the two teams were in an âarm wrestleâ with each other. Saints continued to put the pressure on and were rewarded with a Danny Hill try – a first in Saints colours. Jake Burns jumped out of dummy half, creating the opportunity for Hill to go over underneath the sticks. Martyn converted, 12-38.
On the back of the Hill try, the Broncos defence looked deflated. Eliot Peposhi took advantage of this, going over the try line from a few metres out. Martyn converted, 12-44.Â
Saints dominance, once again continued and London couldnât cope with the fast pace. Londonâs Jude Ferreira was sent to the sin bin and the missing full back left the London defence unorganised. Lewis Baxter took full advantage as he powered through for another Saints try. Martyn converted, 12-50.
As the hosts continued to struggle with a man less, Saints continued to be ruthless with Reece Sumner and Jake Burns both going over for a try each, rewarding two impressive second half performances. Martyn converted one of the two, 12-60.
In the dying minutes, London were able to score a late consolation with Greenhalgh going over for his second of the afternoon. Thomas converted, 18-60.
Overall, it was a hugely impressive display from the Saints Reserves side in the capital!
