Highlights – Saints Reserves make it three from three!

Saints got off to a strong start with tries from James Bell and Jon Bennison in quick succession. The build-up of pressure in the opening 20 minutes allowed Saints to ask some questions of the Rhinos defence. A short ball from Ellis Archer found James Bell to go underneath the sticks, then a James Bell break led to Jon Bennison supporting to give Saints a two try advantage. Archer converting both tries. 12-0.

As the battle continued, Leeds responded with a William Gatus try in the corner. Sinfield converting from the touchline.

Then, in the dying few minutes of the first half, Bennison found a gap from the scrum which lead to Josh Simm going over for his first try of the afternoon. Archer unsuccessful.

After half time, both sides came out firing with some relentless end to end rugby and excellent goal line defence.

The 60^th minute mark saw Jumah Sambou pick up a loose ball close to the Leeds line. Sambou grubbered through, chases his own kick and put the ball down in the corner. Archer converted.

Another two tries came in quick succession for Saints with Reece Sumner going over and Simm scoring his second of the afternoon. Repeat sets resulted in Archer finding Simm through a cut out pass to the corner. Archer converted.

However, Leeds did not stop battling until the final hooter as Bailey Aldridge was able to go over for nothing more than a consolation try. Sinfield unsuccessful with the conversion.

Overall, a strong performance from Saints Reserves to maintain their 100% winning start!
