Sione Mata'utia has been handed a two match ban after being found guilty of a Grade B offence in our win over Warrington Wolves at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
The RFL Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 17th minute in which Mata’utia was sent to the sin bin for a tackle on George Williams.
Sione has since been charged with a Grade B ‘High Tackle – Reckless’ offence and will miss Saints next two fixtures – against Toulouse on Saturday (6pm local time) and our Betfred Challenge Cup Sixth Round tie – set to be revealed this evening live on the BBC Sport Website from 6.45pm.
