Hurrell given two game ban but free to play Easter Monday

Konrad Hurrell has been handed a two match ban after being found guilty of a Grade B crusher offence in our win over Wigan Warriors on Good Friday, but the ban won't come into place until Wednesday meaning he will be available for Easter Monday's trip to Huddersfield Giants (3pm).

The RFL Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 27th minute and has charged Hurrell with a Grade B “dangerous contact” crusher tackle.

All Good Friday bans do not kick in until midnight on Wednesday meaning Hurrell is free to face the Giants on Easter Monday, but will miss the following Friday 22 April trip to Castleford and then Saints home clash with Salford Red Devils on 29 April.

Wigan’s Sam Powell has been charged with a Grade E crusher tackle on Saints Jon Bennison and he is up with the Tribunal to determine the length of his ban.
