Amor joins Warrington on loan for remainder of 2022 season

Experienced prop Kyle Amor has joined Warrington Wolves on loan until the end of the current Betfred Super League season.

Amor, who turns 35 this week, has made 212 Saints appearances over a nine year spell, but has had limited game time in the Red Vee this season, playing just four times.

With the likes of Agnatius Paasi and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook providing impact for Saints off the bench in recent weeks, plus the emergence of youngsters Jake Wingfield and Dan Norman, Amor will now look for an opportunity at neighbours Warrington Wolves.

Kyle Amor said: “I owe Saints an awful lot. What they have done for me personally and also my family has been great. I will always have an eternal bond with the Club as I have had a lot of success there.

“That is one thing I am incredibly proud of. I have been able to play my part in those sides which have been able to achieve what they have in one of the most successful periods of the Club’s history.

“It’s a special place for me, but that has got to be put to one side for now and my focus is now on Warrington and getting a job done there.”

Saints Head Coach Kristian Woolf added: “We thank Kyle for his long service with us. He has been a valued member of the team for the best part of nine years and has been a big part of our success over recent years.

“This move allows him the opportunity to gain more game time elsewhere. We wish him, Carrie, Max and Lila all the best at Warrington.”

The Club wishes Kyle all the best for the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
