Nine tries for Saints Reserves resulted in a huge 0-50 win over Huddersfield Giants Reserves in Yorkshire on Wednesday evening.
Saints reserves got off to a quick start from an inch perfect Josh Simm grubber kick that found winger, Jumah Sambou in the corner. Archer was unsuccessful with the kick.
From the back of the first try, Saints started to build some pressure on the Giants defence. Hooker Jake Burns spotted a gap which Ellis Archer took advantage of by finding Rio Corkill with a cut out pass to go over underneath the sticks. Archer was this time successful with the conversion.

Clinical Saints continued the fast-paced tempo with two tries in as many minutes in the hands of Jake Burns and Dan Moss.
Ruck speed continued to be a problem for the Giants as Dan Norman spotted space in the broken defensive line, eventually finding winger Keane Gilford before passing back inside to Ellis Keppel to go over for a try.
It wasn’t long after until the try of the night was scored in the hands of Ellis Archer. Josh Simm beat the defence with some impressive footwork, then finding Dan Moss in support for Archer to score a classy St Helens try.
Saints started the second half just how they finished the first. Relentless pressure lead to a Giants knock on 20m from their own line. Fullback Dan Hill was able to capitalise from the scrum with another Ellis Archer assist.
After the strong attacking start to the second half, Saints was questioned in defence for a 15-minute period with the hosts throwing all they had into their attack. However, this wasn’t enough as the ruthlessness transitioned from attack into defence.
With 10 minutes to go, Saints finished the game strongly. A brilliant Dan Moss try put the visitors back in control. As momentum switched back to Saints, the Giants defence looked tired. Norman found an offload to Moss who then found Hill to go over for his second try of the night and round off a perfect trip to Yorkshire for Saints.
