Sione Mata'utia is clear to play in Friday's home clash with Huddersfield Giants after the Club successfully appealed his one match ban.

The RFL Match Review Panel reviewed an incident which occurred in approximately the 30th minute in which Mata’utia caught Jai Field late after a pass which led to Bevan French’s first Wigan try.
The Club challenged the grading following the Grade A one match penalty notice issued to him and the Operational Rules Tribunal have since downgraded the charge to a “Caution”.
Mata’utia is therefore free to play in Friday’s Betfred Super League match with Huddersfield Giants at the Totally Wicked Stadium (kick off 8pm).
