Josh Simm has been recalled from his loan spell at Hull FC.
The Saints lost Regan Grace in the defeat to Salford and boss Kristian Woolf confirmed that young utility back, Dan Hill was forced off in yesterday’s victory over Castleford with a shoulder issue.
Woolf’s men have also been without the likes of Will Hopoate and Mark Percival in recent weeks whilst Lewis Dodd and Grace are out for the season.
The growing absentee list means the boss recalled Sam Royle from his initial two week loan with Hull KR and he has now been forced to recall Josh Simm ahead of potentially going up against the Club he has scored two tries in five appearances for since joining on loan, including the winner against Hull KR on his debut at Magic Weekend.
Ahead of Sunday’s trip to Hull FC (3pm), Sione Mata’utia will return to the squad after serving his three match suspension.
Woolf will hold a press conference on Wednesday this week before naming his squad at midday on Friday.
