Early injury news ahead of Hull FC trip

Kristian Woolf has revealed he will welcome back Agnatius Paasi and Sione Mata’utia into his squad ahead of Sunday’s trip to the MKM Stadium to face Hull FC (3pm kick off).

Paasi sat out Sunday’s win against Castleford after suffering a head knock against Salford the previous week, whilst Mata’utia has missed the last three games through suspension.

The boss has also admitted that Will Hopoate has a chance of a return, but his fitness will be assessed later this week.

Curtis Sironen will of course miss out after picking up a two game ban against Castleford game.

Saints have recalled Josh Simm from his loan spell at Hull FC after youngster Dan Hill injured his shoulder early in Sunday’s game with Hill sidelined for between four-to-six weeks.

Woolf said: “Both Agnatius Paasi and Sione Mata’utia will be 100 per cent available.

“Will Hopoate we will have to get back into training and see where he is at. Will will have some chance but I won’t sit here now and say that he’s a definite.”

Woolf will name his squad for Sunday’s trip to Hull FC on Friday at 12 noon. Purchase your tickets here.
