Sione Mata'utia and Morgan Knowles miss out due to injury and suspension respectively as Kristian Woolf makes two changes to his 21 man squad ahead of Friday's home clash with Hull KR (8pm).
Knowles picked up a one game suspension after a shoulder charge against Hull FC and he will join Curtis Sironen on the sideline as he serves the final game of his suspension.
Mata’utia will also miss the game as he limped off mid-way through the second half of Sunday’s win with a foot injury and the boss has indicated he will be missing for “two, possibly three weeks”.
“Sione has a foot injury and he is going to be out for two, possibly three weeks at this stage,” he said.
“We are hopeful for the two weeks but we are not going to take any risks with him at the same time. It is more than likely he will be back for the last game and he will certainly be fine for the finals.”
There is some positive news for Saints with Woolf confirming Jack Welsby, who missed the trip to Hull after picking up a couple of bangs in the Castleford game, will return.
“Jack will be back and be the main inclusion this week,” Woolf said.
Lewis Baxter and Taylor Pemberton come into the squad in place of Knowles and Mata’utia as Saints look to secure the League Leaders’ Shield. If Wigan drop points against Toulouse and the Red Vee get the two points, we will be confirmed as League winners.
