Round 26 sees the Saints host Wakefield Trinity in our penultimate regular season home game of the season with kick off at 3pm.
BACKGROUND
Saints head into the penultimate home game of the regular season looking to bounce back from the disappointment of the derby day defeat to Wigan on Friday night.
A victory is obviously the priority as we look to not only confirm top spot, but also head towards the Playoffs in winning form.
However, Saints will also secure the Super League Leaders’ Shield if Wigan fail to beat Hull KR at the same time on Monday afternoon.
Kristian Woolf is without a number of first team players due to injuries and suspensions and has shuffled his pack with up to five potential debutants named.
Wakefield however come into this game full of confidence, having won four of our last five fixtures and have secured their Super League status for next season.
