It will be the first league meeting between Saints and Leigh since 2021 when the Leopards were known as the Centurions.
Leigh are in a buoyant mood after securing their first win of the season and first win in the Super League since securing promotion last Autumn last Friday night. The Leythers got the victory over Hull KR in the final moments thanks to a Josh Charnley score in the corner at Sewell Group Craven Park.
St Helens are looking to return to winning ways after suffering their first loss of 2023 at home on Friday. Following a dramatic final few minutes which saw the Saints reduced to 12 men, Blake Austin slotted over a winning drop-goal to salvage the start of their campaign and claim their first win of the year in the third round.
The Red V are boosted by the return of influential captain James Roby and powerful prop forward Agnatius Paasi. However, St Helens will be without Sione Mata’utia, Curtis Sironen, and Konrad Hurrell due to the match suspensions they picked up in the Leeds fixture.
Stepping into the squad declaration for the first time this season is outside back Wesley Bruines who joined the Saints in the off-season, was given squad number #34, and has been working hard in pre-season. At the weekend he featured for our Reserves against Newcastle Thunder and scored a hat-trick in a dominating victory 72-4.

Tickets will be come off sale at: 12pm on Friday, 10th March – at this point Ticket Collections will be no longer available at the Saints’ Ticket Office, with tickets not yet collected to be made available at Leigh Sports Village’s Ticket Office on match night.

Postage Options
First Class postage will be available for all upcoming fixtures, both home and away, priced at just £1. Special Delivery will still be available for £5.90.
You can also collect your ticket from the Ticket Office for free.
The quickest and easiest method of securing your spot for home fixtures is by purchasing your ticket online by visiting eticketing.co.uk/saintsrlfc. You can secure a digital or ‘Print at Home’ ticket for matches at the Totally Wicked Stadium which would not require you to visit the Ticket Office.
Travel Information
Coach travel is priced at £11 for 2023 Members and £13 for Non-Members, the coach will depart the Totally Wicked Stadium at 6pm on Friday, March 10.
Please be aware that alcohol is not permitted on any of our club coaches which are stewarded. Any foul and abusive language or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated on our coaches.
