We celebrated our March edition of the Qualitech Reminisce Cafe earlier on this morning!
Our March Reminisce Cafe took place this morning in front of a packed room at Saints’ Totally Wicked Stadium in the Stapleton Premier Lounge on the third floor overlooking the pitch.
Former Saints player, Gary Wheeler, was the special guest for the event, as he was interviewed by Gareth Foster in front of the crowd who attended our event. He most recently had a spell at Barrow Raiders before leaving the club at the end of the 2022 season. Gaz spoke about his career, where he started, how he got to play for Saints and also what life is like for him now his career is over. Wheeler now works for the Saints Community Development Foundation as a coach.
There was also a special guest at the event, as the newly won World Club Challenge trophy from St Helens’ 13-12 golden point victory over Penrith Panthers joined us for the start of the Reminisce Cafe.
We also hosted our monthly quizzes, video throwbacks and people at the event were offered free hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and some desserts such as cookies and cakes, which were brought in by Barry Diggles.
There will not be a Reminisce Cafe happening in April over Easter, our next event will be on the 24th May at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Make sure to stay tuned to all of our social media channels to keep updated on if that date changes in the coming weeks.
