Our head coach spoke to the press regarding injuries picked up in and before the Hull FC game, and previews our upcoming Huddersfield contest.
With Mark Percival pulling out in the warm-up and Ben Davies leaving the field in the second half of the game against Hull FC, Paul was asked for a fitness update on the squad, and how we’re looking to line up on Thursday in Huddersfield.
Mark could be back in the squad this week, but if not he will be clear to play next week. Ben Davies is looking at a spell out with ankle ligament damage that will see him sidelined for the next five to six weeks.
He also spoke about our intentions regarding Morgan Knowles with him picking up a one-match ban. Stating that we will need to look into the incident further before making a decision on whether to appeal.
With a familiar face looking to line up for the opposition on Thursday in Kevin Naiqama, Wello also spoke on him as a player and how well-remembered he is in our squad.
