World Cup England international Joe Batchelor made his first Super League appearance of the year against the Wire on Thursday night, and it was a doubly sweet victory for the back-rower.
The game marked his return to match action after suffering an ankle injury in the Saints’ game against St George Illawarra Dragons back in February, and it got the Red V back to winning ways beating one of our top-flight neighbours who sit top of the league table!
