Our Saints Women have a busy month in May, find out all the information that you need to know here!
After returning to action in April with a friendly against Bradford Bulls, before facing York Valkyrie in their Betfred Women’s Super League opener and London Broncos in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup, St Helens Women will look forward to at least four more outings in the month of May!
Castleford Tigers
Following our 76-0 victory in the Capital against London Broncos in their first game, Saints will once again be on the road this week, as they travel to West Yorkshire to face Castleford.
It will be the first time the two sides have met since the 2021 playoffs, as Saints beat the Tigresses 58-0 at the Totally Wicked Stadium on their way to a historic treble!

Nines Tournament
Following their successful inaugural festival last year, the Nines Tournament will once again be returning for 2023. The event will once again be hosted at Warrington’s Victoria Park, whilst the finals day will be held at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium later on in the year.
Saints will face Featherstone Rovers, Hull KR and Newcastle Thunder in this year’s event!

Warrington Wolves
Saints will once again face the Wolves in the Challenge Cup in 2023, having also done so during their successful campaign in 2022.
The Red V beat the Wolves 54-0 at Victoria Park in 2022 and will be hoping for a similar score line later on this month, as they will be looking to progress out of the Group Stage as winners of their group.

Leeds Rhinos
The pre-season friendly allows new Head Coach, Matty Smith, the chance to evaluate members of his squad ahead of the 2023 campaign which starts later on in the month.
The two sides last clashed back in 2021, during Saints’ treble winning campaign. Saints won the game 86-0 at Warrington’s Victoria Park, the game that kickstarted the history making season!
