Two legendary Saints men. James Roby sits down with Kel Coslett to discuss becoming the all-time club appearance record holder.
Since 1976, no man has played more matches for St Helens R.F.C than the iconic Kel Coslett, who played for our club on 531 occasions.
Kel played for Saints from 1962 for fourteen years, scoring 45 tries and amassing an incredible 1,639 goals, totalling 3,413 points, both club records also.
Now, 47 years on, James Roby in his twentieth season as as a Red V player is poised to make even more history by becoming the club’s new all-time club appearance record holder.
