Matty Smith offers his thought as Saints won three consecutive games in the Nines Qualifiers on Sunday!
Matty Smith reflected as Saints Women progressed to the Nines Finals Day at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium on Saturday 24th June.
A 31-4 victory over Featherstone Rovers in the first game of the day was followed with a 31-0 victory over Hull KR and a 54-0 victory over newly formed side, Newcastle Thunder.
Matty also gave special praise to our debuting u19 players, as well as the returning Faye Gaskin, who featured in a Red V shirt for the first time since suffering an injury against York almost two years ago.
Saints will face Warrington Wolves next in their final Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup group stage game at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday, and you can purchase your tickets for the game here
