Saints Women have two games as well as the Nines Finals Day in June, find out all the information that you need to know here!
After an action packed May, as Saints featured in four games, the Red V will be in action in three different competitions in June. First, Saints will be in action in the derby, as we host Wigan Warriors, before hosting local rivals Warrington the following week in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup. We end the months with the Nines Finals Day at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium!
Wigan Warriors
First off in June, the Red V will host Wigan Warriors in the derby at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Saints travelled to Robin Park Arena on the final day of the 2022 Betfred Women’s Super League regular season, and despite beating the Warriors 4-56, missed out on the League Leaders’ Shield as York beat Leeds at Headingley.
You can view below some of the reaction to that big victory over Wigan last time out:

Warrington Wolves
Saints will face the Wolves in the Betfred Challenge Cup for the second consecutive game, having drawn our group runners up in the Quarter Finals later on this month.
The Red V beat the Wolves 38-4 at the Totally Wicked Stadium on the 21st May, and will need a repeat of that performance to see us progress to the last four on the 18th June.

The Saints reached the event’s Finals Day in 2022, but ultimately came up short as York Valkyrie won the trophy on offer. Saints will find out their opponents for the event in the coming weeks.
