St Helens are heading to Newcastle for Betfred Super League’s annual festival of league action, the Magic Weekend!
This year, the Saints face Huddersfield Giants at St James’ Park with kick-off scheduled for 2:15pm on Sunday, 4th June.
The Red V are aiming to keep their winning form going with a fourth straight win following last Friday night’s dramatic Golden Point thriller saw Saints take home the spoils from Headingley Stadium.
Head Coach Paul Wellens has two changes to the squad that was declared for the 12-13 win over Leeds Rhinos, with Ben Davies and Sam Royle making way for star centre Mark Percival who is back available following a hamstring injury, and prop forward Matty Lees returns following his two-match suspension.
As we reach the midway point of the season, Saints are looking to keep building form and move up the competition ladder with a semi-final spot in the Challenge Cup up for grabs in the coming weeks too.

150 HERITAGE KIT
Saints will be wearing for the first time our 150 Heritage Kit which acknowledges the Club’s days before wearing the famous ‘Red V’. Inspired by a trading card from the early Knowsley Road era in the early 1890’s. The left chest proudly carries an adapted version of the St.Helens Town Crest, used in the 1960s and 70s, on an enlarged white background with the Club initials ‘STH R.F.C.’ adorned underneath. The kit blends together a celebration of History, Club, and Town into one. Find out more about the kit HERE.
Our special 150 Heritage Kit will also be worn in our Heritage Celebration Fixture, in Round 25 Betfred Super League vs Leigh Leopards at Totally Wicked Stadium, Friday 8 September 2023.
