It's Challenge Cup quarter-final week! Both our First Team and Women's team are looking to book their spots in the final four of the Betfred Challenge Cup this weekend, but we also have two youth matches to look forward to as well.
There are two games at the Totally Wicked Stadium this week, the first gets our fixtures started on Wednesday night with midweek Scholarship action, then on Sunday the Women’s team have the quarter-final in the Cup.
On Saturday, both the Academy and First Team are headed east to take on Hull FC.
Scholarship vs Wakefield Trinity (H)
Our Under 16’s are back in action for the first time in over a month, and looking to get back to winning ways after their unbeaten start came to an end after being edged past by Leeds back at the start of May. A terrific fightback from our youngsters almost snatched the win over the Rhinos, but it came just a bit too late with Leeds taking home the spoils, 24-26.
It has been a good start to the Scholarship season though for our young Saints, with wins over Wigan, Hull KR and London, they will be keen to get a fourth win in their fifth game of the year against Wakefield on Wednesday!

Saints head into the game in good form after a dominant home win over Hull KR last time out, backing up the victories over Newcastle, Warrington, Wigan, Huddersfield and London.

First Team vs Hull FC (A)
A spot in the final four of the Betfred Challenge Cup is up for grabs, but to do it Paul Wellens’ men will have to beat a resurgent Hull FC who under new Head Coach Tony Smith are finding their feet and getting some victories on the board.
Saints head east in red-hot form with arguably the two best performances of the domestic season so far, with dominant wins firstly over Huddersfield Giants in Newcastle backed up by a strong victory in The Derby over Wigan Warriors last Friday night. That win over Wigan made it four straight league wins, and five in a row in all competitions!
With well over 800 supporters already heading over to the MKM Stadium to cheer on St Helens, it promises to be an afternoon to remember and to the victor go the spoils.
